A little about Coach Dumas....
Coach Dumas graduated from Lycoming College, where he majored in Psychology and Elementary Education. Coach D helped the Lycoming football program to 4 straight division III football playoff appearances, and a perfect 36-0 regular season record, while receiving All-American honors his junior and senior year.
After a record setting college career, Coach Dumas took his talents to the Arena league. Playing two years with the Augusta Stallions he amassed over 2500 receiving yards and 52 touchdowns.
Coach Dumas began teaching in Philadelphia where he taught as a 3rd grade teacher. In 2005 he moved to North Carolina where he began teaching at Cary Elementary School as a 3rd grade teacher. During the 2008 school year, Coach D took on the position as a 5th grade teacher, where he remained until 2013.
Coach Dumas spends his afternoons as the director of the Cary Elementary School after school program, and during the summer works as the director of the Cary Cougar summer camp.
With a love for both teaching and sports, Coach D spends many evenings coaching his children’s sports teams. In his short career he has coached t-ball, basketball, pee wee football and high school football.
Coach D lives in Holly Springs with his wife Kori, daughter Kyleigh and son Timmy.
